But in view of the Corona epidemic, the Railways is preparing a plan to run festive special trains to reduce congestion and provide convenient travel to passengers.

Currently, the waiting list for most of the special trains has crossed 100. Therefore, the Railways has prepared to run more new trains. According to sources, the Railways is preparing a plan to run 120 festive special trains, but due to the Corona epidemic, the state governments of Maharashtra and West Bengal have not yet approved for their state.

100 new special trains under unlock-4.0

Indian Railways will run around 100 new special trains under Unlock-4.0. For this, discussions are on with railway states. After getting the green signal from the Ministry of Home Affairs, several special trains will be run. Currently, Railways are running 230 express trains in the name of special trains, including 30 Rajdhanis.
