It is understood that during S Jaishankar's visit to Russia on 10 September, one of the most trusted ministers of President Vladimir Putin will meet Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

Sergei Lavrov is in constant touch with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. Meanwhile, a meeting between S Jaishankar and Wang Yi is expected. Everyone's hopes for this meeting are based on the end of the ongoing military tension between India and China.
