NAVI MUMBAI: Former Navi Mumbai police commissioner Sanjay Kumar has tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday, a day after he was transferred and posted as ADG (training and special squads). Kumar has handed over charge to new police commissioner Bipin Kumar Singh. He disclosed that he had tested positive for Covid-19 through a tweet on Friday.
Kumar stated "In spite of all precautions and all sorts of concoctions Ayurvedic, Homoeopathic and rigorous physical activities I have also became victim of Covid-19. Started with muscle pain, fever, shivering and throat infection. Hospitalized. I'm fine. will get released in one week. Good rest."
