MNS warns Kangana Ranaut against defaming Mumbai Police after she compared Mumbai to Pakistan occupied Kashmir

Kangana Ranaut's tweet on Mumbai Police, comparing the city to Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) did not go down well with a section of society. Many celebrities like Renuka Shahane, Swara Bhasker, Urmila Matondkar, among others slammed the actress, calling her comparison 'appalling'. Now, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has also jumped into the fray warning Kangana against criticising the Mumbai Police while Congress blamed the BJP IT cell of working behind the curtains on behalf of the actress. Ameya Khopkar, who heads the MNS film workers union in her statement said, 'Today, Mumbai is safe only due to Mumbai Police as women can travel even at midnight. We will not allow anyone to unjustly criticise the Mumbai Police'.
