After the second-highest run-scorer in the Indian Premier League history Suresh Raina opted out from the IPL, another blow comes to the Chennai Super Kings. CSK club might have to prepare themselves for the edition without these World Cup winners.

"He has not sent in any official communication and that is expected by today evening or tomorrow. But the team management has been told to prepare for the scenario wherein they may miss his services," the source was quoted saying in an interview with ANI.

CSK received the first jerk when 11 member and two players Deepak Chahar and Rutiraj Gaikwad tested positive for the COVID-19 after flying to the UAE. The member albeit tested negative, but the yellow army is waiting for the final results for COVID-19. Chennai Super Kings are the only team to start hit their training schedule.

Dream 11 IPL is all set to kick start the 13th edition in the UAE from September 19. The final will be played on November 10.
