Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to hold a brainstorming meeting with NBFC!

Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will hold a brainstorming meeting with the heads of banks and non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) on Thursday. The purpose of this meeting of Ms. Sitharaman is to ensure the smooth and speedy implementation of the debt restructuring plan once the solution to the financial pressures associated with COVID-19.

The meeting will also review the progress of various schemes announced under the Rs 20.97 lakh crore self-reliant India campaign. This meeting is also important because the Moratorium period is coming to an end on 31 August.

Hopefully, this and many other issues can be discussed in the meeting. After the lockdown was imposed, the government had announced several reliefs for the common man during the Corona crisis.
