• Former environmental affairs minister Nomvula Mokonyane will return to the stand at the state capture commission on Thursday.
• She has been accused of receiving cash payments, gifts, security upgrades, a birthday bash and maintenance services at her home through a relationship with Bosasa.
• Mokonyane has denied many of the allegations levelled against her.

The state capture commission of inquiry will continue on Thursday with Bosasa-related testimony from former environmental affairs minister Nomvula Mokonyane.

Mokonyane has been accused of unduly benefitting from her relationship with Bosasa. Many of the accusations were levelled against her by former Bosasa COO Angelo Agrizzi.

In recent days, her long-time assistant, Sandy Thomas, testified that groceries bought by Bosasa and delivered to Mokonyane's household were not for the minister, but rather for people in need.

Meanwhile, Agrizzi's former personal assistant said she was asked to send birthday hampers to both Mokonyane and Thomas.
