Himachal Pradesh reports 199 new Covid-19 cases, 5 deaths

SHIMLA: Himachal Pradesh on Thursday reported five Covid-related deaths from Solan district and 199 fresh cases. The state also witnessed recovery of 98 coronavirus patients.
State jal shakti minister Mahender Singh Thakur, who had recently returned from Delhi, was among those tested positive. The state's Covid tally has now climbed to 6,615 of which 1,708 are active cases, 4,814 have recovered, 46 have died while 45 have migrated out of state.
Those tested positive include 13 each from Bilaspur and Hamirpur, one each from Chamba and Mandi, 40 from Kangra, six from Kinnaur, two from Kullu, 11 from Shimla, 52 from Sirmaur, 41 from Solan and 19 from Una district.
