Why masks for husband and wife?

THE EDITOR: I would like to say that I totally agree with the wearing of face masks to fight this covid19 epidemic. As responsible people of our beautiful country we must do what is right by wearing masks, washing our hands and keeping social distances from one another but my question is, if a man and his wife could spend the whole day together in their home without wearing masks, their home being their own space, and then they decide to get into their car to drive somewhere, again, their car being their own space, why are they now required to wear a mask?

Is the space in their car different to their home?

The Minister of National Security said if there is one person in a car there is no need for a mask, but why not the same for you and your spouse, once you are living together?

I am of the opinion that this should be explained and made clear for the general public to understand.
