Congress recently wrote a letter to the company's CEO Mark Zuckerberg, accusing Facebook of colluding with the BJP. At the same time, Facebook has now responded to this. Facebook has stated that we are non-partisan and strives to ensure that our platforms remain a place where people express themselves freely. We take allegations of prejudice seriously and condemn hatred and bigotry in all forms.

Actually, Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal wrote a letter to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg. It referred to a Wall Street Journal article. Venugopal said that Facebook India employee Ankhi Das had helped the BJP in election-related work. In such a situation, Congress demands investigation of Facebook India operation.

Venugopal had said that there should be a high-level inquiry into the matter and its report should be disclosed to everyone. He said that by then Facebook should set up a new team for its India branch.

Venugopal had referred to the matter in a letter to the Facebook founder and said that this had caused a lot of disappointment to the Congress. He suggested to Zuckerberg that a high-level inquiry be initiated by the Facebook headquarters and completed it within a month or two and the investigation report be submitted to the company's board. This report should also be made public.

Venugopal had also urged that the responsibility of operating the Indian branch of Facebook be handed over to the new team till the investigation is completed and the report is handed over so that the process of investigation is not affected.

It is worth mentioning that former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has attacked BJP by quoting this article. Accusing the BJP and RSS, the Congress leader said, "They have completely taken over Facebook and WhatsApp." Their purpose is to dissolve hate in society with the help of social media.
