NEW DELHI: IT stocks were trading on a positive note at 11:30AM (IST) on Wednesday.
Shares of Mindtree (up 3.83 per cent ), Info Edge (India) (up 2.6 per cent ), HCL Technologies (up 0.71 per cent ), Wipro (up 0.63 per cent) and Tech Mahindra (up 0.57 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Larsen & Toubro Infotech (down 0.38 per cent) was the sole loser in the index.
The Nifty IT index was trading 0.64 per cent up at 17927.3 around 11:30AM.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 3.15 points at 11467.1, while the BSE Sensex was down 38.45 points at 38862.35.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 27 were trading in the green, while 23 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Zee Ent., Tata Motors and SBI were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Central Depository Services (India) Ltd., Adani Green Energy Ltd., IndiaMART InterMESH Ltd., Hathway Cable and Godrej Ind hit their fresh 52 week high in today's trade, while Libas Designs Ltd. hit fresh 52 week low in trade.
