The family of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput continues garnering support of fans from all over the world, and his sister Shweta Singh Kirti wonders when will the case find a closure.

CNN-News18 accesses statements of Sushant Singh Rajput's sisters to Mumbai Police. In their statements, the three sisters, Priyanka, Meetu and Neetu Singh have claimed that they knew about the late actor's mental health. One of his sisters in her statements said that in 2013, Sushant told her that he was not well and he consulted a psychiatrist.

Sushant Singh Rajput's sister, Shweta Singh Kirti thanked all wellwishers who have been demanding for justice ever since Sushant was found dead in his Mumbai flat on June 14. "We might be divided by borders, but we stay untied in emotions!! We want Justice for Sushant and nothing can distract us from our goal! #Warriors4SSR #DividedByBordersUnitedByEmotions #GlobalPrayers4SSR #JusticeForSSR," she tweeted. She used the micro-blogging site to share photos of hoardings that have been set up in Chicago, New Jersey and Mississippi in support of the late actor. They featured Sushant's image and text like "We deserve the truth" and "Justice for Sushant".

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested an alleged drug peddler from Mumbai in connection with Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death case.

In a recent interview, Rhea Chakraborty had claimed that Sushant Singh Rajput took medicine before flying as he faced claustrophobia while travelling in a flight. Fans of the late actor rubbished Rhea's claims by sharing videos of SSR enjoying plane flights, paragliding and more. Now, Sushant's former girlfriend Ankita Lokhande has shared a video of him paragliding. Ankita also thanked her friend for uploading the video which the actress reposted on her Instagram account.

Late Sushant Singh Rajput's sister Shweta has been at the forefront of the family’s fight in the actor's death case. On Wednesday, she shared a photo of a letter from the chief minister of Nagaland. The letter, dated September 2018, had CM Neiphiu Rio thanking Sushant for donating Rs 1.25 crore towards the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta: I lost my brother and my heart bleeds every day

Late Sushant Singh Rajput's US-based sister Shweta Singh Kirti on Wednesday took to social media to express the pain of losing her brother. Sushant, 34, died on June 14 at his residence in Mumbai. “I lost my brother and my heart bleeds everyday…how long will it take to find the truth… when will we be able to find closure??” Shweta wrote on social media.

Vishal Dadlani speaks out against alleged media trial of Rhea

Singer-music composer Vishal Dadlani has reacted to the alleged medial trial of Rhea Chakraborty in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. Vishal, who is known to speak his mind, was responding to Shibani Dandekar's post, in which she called for justice for Rhea. "You're a rock, @shibanidandekar. I'm proud of you, and lucky to count you among my very few friends. While I don't really know Rhea, it's heartbreaking to watch her be victimised by evidence-free conjectures in the media just so they can distract India from the real issues of COVID, China, the total failure of this government and the collapse of our Economy. Good on you for standing strong," Vishal commented.

SSR's business partner Varun Mathur leaves ED office

Sushant Singh Rajput's business partner Varun Mathur has left the Enforcement Directorate office after three hours of questioning. His questioning began at 11 am. He was quizzed about a company called Innsaie Ventures Private Limited where he, Sushant and another person by the name Saurabh Mishra, were directors. The company in the question was incorporated in March 2018 but was shut down shortly in early 2019. The company was into E-wellness, health and wellness, Business IP's and communication. The ED was probing how much money was invested by the three partners.

Sisters Shibani and Anusha Dandekar, who have known Rhea since her days as a video jockey, have spoken up in her defence in the Sushant Singh Rajput case. Shibani shared a long post on Instagram, saying she has known Rhea since the latter was 16 years old, calling her "vibrant, strong, vivacious" and a "bright spark".

Sushant Case: NCB Arrests Alleged Drug Dealer, Detains Another in Mumbai

The Narcotics Control Bureau has arrested an alleged contraband dealer and detained another in connection with the drugs trafficking case linked to the case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death, officials said on Wednesday, according to news agency PTI. The arrested man has been identified by the federal anti-narcotics agency as Zaid Vilatra. Indian currency worth Rs 9,55,750 and foreign currency (USD 2,081, 180 British Pounds, 15 dirhams), which the NCB claimed are "proceeds of drug peddling", have been recovered from him. Zaid came under the scanner after the agency arrested two people -- Abbas Lakhani and Karan Arora -- in another narcotics case on August 27-28 in Mumbai and recovered a bud consignment from them. Lakhani had "linkages" with Zaid, the NCB claimed.

NCB Uses Leads From Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case to Probe Bollywood's Links With Drug Mafia

The Narcotics Control Bureau’s investigation in the Sushant Singh Rajput case has once again put the spotlight on Bollywood’s alleged nexus with the drug mafia. The NCB was the third central agency to join the probe into the actor’s death and sources aware of the developments said that it is close to making a “big drugs bust." Officials told News18 that NCB Director General Rakesh Asthana had made a secret visit to Mumbai recently and created a special team, monitored by Deputy Director General (Western Zone), to probe the film industry’s connections to a drug cartel in Goa, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Gujarat.

Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer Satish Maneshinde says that it is Sushant Singh Rajput's family to explain what happened between June 8 and 14 after the actress left the late actor's Bandra residence.

Shruti Modi Being Framed for Denying Access to Sushant Singh Rajput's Financial Details, Says Lawyer

Sushant Singh Rajput's former manager Shruti Modi's lawyer Ashok Saraogi has said that she is being framed because she did not let the actor's sister access his financial details. He told CNN-News18, "My client has nothing to do with financial or any other aspects involved in the case. She was in service for only few months. She is being framed just because she denied Sushant's sister access to his financial details. When he was admitted to Hinduja Hospital, Shruti received a call from SSR's father making inquiries and passed on the message to Sushant. Sushant fired her saying his family is the reason he was in that condition."

Vidya Balan on Tuesday stated that it was unfortunate how the tragic death of Sushant Singh Rajput had become a media circus. She also criticised the media trials of actress Rhea Chakraborty.

Rhea's lawyer opens up on NCB joining the investigation of SSR case

When asked about the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) joining the investigation as the third investigating body in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer Satish Maneshinde told CNN-News18 that the actress is not worried about it because "we know the truth". He also accused the family of leaking messages in public domain, saying that it is "unfortunate" that Sushant has not been allowed to rest in peace.

"Rhea has faced Mumbai police, ED and CBI, she'll face NCB too. Not worried because we know the truth. We know who was consuming it. The family brought into picture as to who was consuming drugs, they started making allegations by leaking messages that there was drug connection to this case. It is unfortunate, that Sushant has not been allowed to rest in peace by his own family. The motive is very obvious, why are they doing this," he  said.

Rhea Chakraborty has denied all allegations levelled by Sushant Singh Rajput's family against her and said that she'd cooperate with the investigating agencies to prove her innocence. The case is being currently probed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), as per a Supreme Court order earlier this month. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is investigating the money laundering angle, while the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) recently joined the probe to look into the drugs link.

Minissha Lamba speaks out against the alleged media trial of Rhea Chakraborty

Minissha Lamba has spoken up against the "horrific vilification" of Rhea Chakraborty in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. Minissha said that Rhea is coming to terms with the tragic loss herself and is also seeking to know the truth about Sushant. In a tweet, Minissha lent her support to Rhea and wrote, “I do hope that after #RheaChakroborty speaking out, that we realise, in all the weeks of horrific vilification, reinforcing set stereotype wild conjecture...That there is a human being out there dealing with a tragic loss, who is seeking the same answers that you."

VJ Anusha Dandekar has backed Rhea Chakraborty by sharing her sister Shibani Dandekar's post on her Instagram stories. She even mentioned the hashtag "Justice for Rhea" in one of her Insta stories. Other celebs who have come out in support of Rhea are Sussanne Roshan, Maanvi Gagroo and Rasika Dugal.

This is a repeat of Aarushi murder case, says Rhea's lawyer Satish Maneshinde

While speaking to CNN-News18, Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer Satish Maneshinde alleged that the Sushant Singh Rajput case is a repeat of 2008 Aarushi Talwar murder case, where the family accused the "entire world and we know who was prosecuted."

The CBI has been investigating Sushant Singh Rajput death case from every angle. In their inital investigation in the first few days, a team of the CBI officials went to Sushant's Bandra residence in Mumbai, where he was found dead on June 14, to reconstruct the sequence of events that led to his tragic death. However, there is no evidence so far that can be pin point as some sort of homicide, a CBI source told CNN-News18.

Sushant's flatmate Siddharth Pithani reaches CBI office

Siddharth Pithani has arrived at the DRDO guest house complex in Kalina, Santacruz, where the CBI team, probing Sushant Singh Rajput death case, is stationed. Siddharth Pithani has been one of the first people to be questioned by the CBI. An IT professional, he had been residing with Sushant for about a year. He was present at the residence on the day of the actor's death on June 14.

Rhea Chakraborty's father reaches CBI office

Rhea Chakraborty's father Indrajit Chakraborty reaches DRDO Guest House, where CBI team investigating the Sushant Singh Rajput death case is stationed. Rhea Chakraborty's parents were questioned on Tuesday by the CBI for the first time. Rhea Chakraborty and her parents are among those named in the FIR registered by the Patna police for allegedly abetting Sushant Singh Rajput's suicide and misappropriating his money.

Everyday brings a new revealation in Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death case. Here's a timeline of what has happened in the case since June 14.

Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer Satish Maneshinde has alleged that Sushant Singh Rajput's father KK Singh lied on oath to the Supreme Court that the late actor was not suffering from depression, contrary to what the family reportedly already knew. Sushant Singh Rajput fell ill after Disha Salian's death, Siddharth Pithani reportedly tells CBI

Sushant Singh Rajput's flatmate Siddharth Pithani reportedly told the Central Bureau of Intelligence during questioning that the late actor fell ill after celebrity manager Disha Salian's death. Disha had passed away on June 8, days before Sushant's demise. Republic TV accessed Siddharth statement to the CBI regarding Disha. In the statement, he said, “When Sushant got to know about Disha’s death, he became unwell, after which he spoke to Uday, manager of a company called Cornerstone. This company sent Disha as Sushant’s celebrity manager when Shruti Modi had an injury. Sushant had become very tense after the news of Disha’s suicide on the 9th of June. Because of this tension, he asked me to sleep in his bedroom. He kept asking me for every single information about Disha’s death, I gave him every information."

Sushant Singh Rajput Case: NCB Detains Alleged Drug Dealer in Mumbai

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Tuesday detained an alleged contraband dealer who has "links" with its probe in the drugs trafficking case pertaining to the death case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, officials said. The man, who has not been identified, apprehended by the federal anti-narcotics agency is understood to be involved in the supply of narcotics in the high-end party circles of Mumbai. The agency last week arrested two men for alleged drug trafficking in the western metropolis and it is understood that the leads against the detained man came after questioning them.
