Chippa were further reduced to nine men in the 87th minute when Elvis Moyo was shown a red card for a dangerous tackle.
Ernst Middendorp's side now move to within 90 minutes of claiming a record 13th title moving into the final week of the 2019/2020 campaign.
Chiefs face Baroka FC in their final match of the season on Saturday.
