Woman killed in domestic dispute, man's body found in Woodford Square

The body of a man was found in Woodford Square, Port of Spain, early this morning hours after a woman was hacked to death by her husband in Dan Kelly Village, Port of Spain.

Relatives have not confirmed it, but it is believed that the man is same person who attacked his wife.

According to reports, at about 4 am, relatives heard Kevon Harris and his wife, 29-year-old Sheriann Huggins, arguing at their house in Dan Kelly. When relatives checked, they saw Harris attacking Huggins with a cutlass.

Harris fled the scene as Huggins died.

Two hours later, workers sweeping the streets found the man's body, He is believed to have taken his own life. Police are working on the theory that the man is Harris, but are still awaiting confirmation of identification
