NEW DELHI: Infrastructure stocks were trading with gains at 02:29PM (IST) on Wednesday.
Shares of Bharti Infratel (up 4.26 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone (up 3.45 per cent), Interglobe Aviation (up 3.04 per cent), Reliance Industries (up 1.97 per cent) and Tata Power Company (up 1.76 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While DLF (down 2.39 per cent), Grasim Industries (down 1.8 per cent), Ashok Leyland (down 1.45 per cent), Petronet LNG (down 1.39 per cent) and Container Corporation of India (down 0.71 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
The Nifty Infrastructure index was trading 0.86 per cent up at 3230.5 around 02:29PM.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 52.90 points at 11523.15, while the BSE Sensex was up 160.67 points at 39061.47.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 29 were trading in the green, while 21 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Zee Ent., Tata Motors and SBI were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Central Depository Services (India) Ltd., Adani Green Energy Ltd., IndiaMART InterMESH Ltd., Hathway Cable and Godrej Ind hit their fresh 52 week high in today's trade, while Libas Designs Ltd. hit fresh 52 week low in trade.
