Oil companies review the prices of LPG cylinders at the beginning of every month. The tax varies from state to state and the price of LPG varies accordingly. The oil marketing companies of the country have not made any changes in the prices of non-subsidized LPG LPG cylinders in September. At the same time, the price of a 19 kg cylinder has come down.

Price was increased in July

According to the information received from the IOCL website, the prices that were in August will continue in September. The 14.2-kg non-subsidized LPG cylinder is stable at Rs 594 in Delhi. It costs Rs 620.50 in Kolkata, Rs 594 in Mumbai, and Rs 610.50 in Chennai.

Price change for 19 kg cylinder

Companies have reduced the price of 19 kg cylinders. In Delhi, it has come down from Rs 1135.50 to Rs 1133.50. Kolkata has been reduced from Rs 1198.50 to Rs 1196.50, in Mumbai from Rs 1091 to Rs 1089 and in Chennai from Rs 1253 to Rs 1250.

The government gives subsidy on gas cylinders

At present, the government provides a subsidy on 12 cylinders of 14.2 kg for each household in a year. If customers want to take more cylinders than this, then they buy them at market price. The price of a gas cylinder changes every month. Its prices determine factors such as average international benchmarks and changes in foreign exchange rates.
