OnePlus Nord is the company's mid-range smartphone that has been quite a hit since its launch a few weeks ago. The phone has been received well by buyers because of its premium looks, and rich feature set. However, like any new phone, the phone was launched with a few bugs in its software.

In a bid to fix those, OnePlus has now started to roll-out OxygenOS 10.5.6 update in India which is bringing with itself fix for a stability issue with Bluetooth connections on the phone. While not a major issue, some users have reported facing Bluetooth issues where the phone automatically disconnects from the paired device after a few minutes.

This particular issue caused these users a lot of trouble while using wireless headphones or transferring files over Bluetooth. Apart from this, the update also brings optimised image stabilization performance in the camera app. The information about the OxygenOS 10.5.6 update was revealed by the company after it took to its forums to reveal the commencement of the rollout in India. While the update has started being rolled out to users, initially it is expected to reach a small percentage of users, after which it will be rolled out to more users in the country.

To remind our readers, the OnePlus Nord comes with a 6.44-inch AMOLED panel running at a refresh rate of 90Hz. The display is rated to provide 408ppi pixel density and 20:9 aspect ratio. For protection, the display is covered by a sheet of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Beneath the surface, there's a rather powerful mid-range chipset in the Snapdragon 756G which has been paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of fast UFS 2.1 storage. This hardware is tasked to run a clean copy of the OxygenOS 10 operating system based on Android 10.

For cameras, the phone is getting a quad-camera set-up that houses a 48-megapixel Sony IMX 586 sensor with an f/1.75 lens and Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) + Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS) support. This sits next to an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens with 119 field-of-view (FOV), a 5-megapixel macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor unit. The front camera is a 32-megapixel Sony IMX616 sensor.
