The country's largest central paramilitary force 'CRPF' has set a target to set a record of walking or running 10 million kilometers in 30 days. For this, officers and soldiers have to walk at least five kilometers daily. DG 'CRPF' Dr. AP Maheshwari and his associate officers are also involved in this initiative.
They are also measuring five kilometers daily. DG Maheshwari is confident that this initiative will help improve the health of officers and jawans of the force. However, if we look at the current force number of CRPF, it is about 1.25 lakh.
In such a situation, if a soldier walks five kilometers every day, then by October one, this figure can reach beyond three crores, but there are many such duties where it will not be possible for all personnel to walk five kilometers daily. This is the reason why DG Maheshwari has set a target of running 10 million kilometers.
DG Dr. AP Maheshwari said on Tuesday, this initiative will prove effective in keeping the health of the CRPF officers and soldiers. The soldiers will increase their enthusiasm for their work. When the health of the workers is good, then it is certain that the efficiency of that force will also increase significantly.
Also, due to good health, the medical expenses of the jawans will decrease. That money can be spent on other welfare schemes. Since CRPF is a disciplined force, whatever order is issued here is followed by 100%.
As DG, we know that all officers and jawans will try to walk to their posting place. There are many postings where this is not possible. Due to this, we have calculated that if two lakh workers will walk or run five kilometers every day, then the target of 30 million kilometers can be achieved in a month.
If three lakh workers walk five kilometers daily for thirty days, then that figure can reach 45 million kilometers. The CRPF has now set a target of running 10 million kilometers in thirty days. It is expected to be completed easily.
