BJP isusing investigative agencies for its political gains: Maken

Congress national general secretary and in-charge of Rajasthan Ajay Maken on Monday alleged that BJP is using investigative agencies like Enforcement Directorate (ED) and CBI for its own benefit.


Asked about the BJP's demand for an investigation by the Enforcement Directorate on the donations received by the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, Maken said, "We have also seen in Rajasthan and other states that the BJP has used the ED, CBI for its political gains."

Maken, who first came to Rajasthan as in-charge, met Congress leaders at the state Congress headquarters here. Maken expressed satisfaction over the progress of the works of the state government. Maken told reporters, "The promises made in the manifesto have been presented by the ministers departmentally. I am happy and satisfied. If a government has completed 60 to 60 percent of its manifesto, I think it is a good pace. ”

Maken said that his work and other achievements on the promises made in the party manifesto on October 2 Will keep it in front of the public.

He said that it has been decided that the district in-charge minister will hold a meeting with local leaders and party workers once a month in their respective district and submit a report at the party headquarters in Jaipur. Maken said, "To strengthen the organization, I will discuss the report presented by the district in-charge ministers every month with the state Congress president."

State Congress President Govind Singh Dotasara said that the achievements mentioned by the ministers will be matched with the promises of the manifesto and will be presented to the people on October 2. He said that positive suggestions have been received in today's meeting which will give strength to the organization.
