NEW DELHI: S&P BSE Power index was trading with gains at 03:02PM (IST) on Tuesday.

<br> Shares of <a href="/topic/Adani-Green" target="_blank">Adani Green</a> (up 7.83 per cent), Adani Power (up 4.16 per cent), <a href="/topic/NTPC" target="_blank">NTPC</a> (up 2.9 per cent), <a target="_blank" href="/torrent-power-ltd/stocks/companyid-18767.cms">Torrent Power</a> (up 2.66 per cent) and CESC (up 1.83 per cent) were among the top gainers.

<br> While <a target="_blank" href="/kec-international-ltd/stocks/companyid-16054.cms">KEC International</a> (down 1.84 per cent), <a target="_blank" href="/bharat-heavy-electricals-ltd/stocks/companyid-11831.cms">Bharat Heavy Electricals</a> (down 0.91 per cent), ABB India Ltd (down 0.79 per cent) and Thermax (down 0.6 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

<br> The S&P BSE Power index was trading 2.22 per cent up at 1707.01 around 03:02PM.

<br> Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 54.25 points at 11441.75, while the BSE Sensex was up 172.63 points at 38800.92.

<br> Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 28 were trading in the green, while 22 were in the red. 
<br> 
<br> Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Federal Bank, Ashok Leyland and SBI were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

<br> Shares of IndiaMART InterMESH Ltd., Larsen & Toubro Infotech Ltd. and Infibeam Avenues Ltd. hit their fresh 52 week high in today's trade, while Darjeeling Ropeway Company Ltd., Panth Infinity Ltd., Innovative Ideals and Services (India) Ltd., Darshan Orna Ltd., Anupam Finserv Ltd., Vas Infrastructure Ltd., Saffron Industries Ltd., Megastar Foods Ltd., Suncare Traders Ltd. and B P Capital Ltd. hit fresh 52 week low in trade.
