Gaurav Aarya was grilled by the ED for 9 hours today. After questioning, Gaurav checked into the Trident Hotel with his lawyer. He denied all the allegations of selling or peddling any kind of drugs to Rhea. He has said he had met Rhea in Goa in 2017 and they had exchanged numbers. Rhea, in a casual chat, spoke to him about drugs and he did not entertain her further on that topic, he claims. The ED is not satisfied with the answers has given today and therefore has called him again for questioning tomorrow at 11 am.

A team from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday once again visited the flat of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, while another team continued grilling Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik and Sushant's former manager Shruti Modi.
The BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Monday told the Maharashtra State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) that it had not permitted actress Rhea Chakraborty's purported "visit" to the morgue where late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's body was kept. Taking suo moto cognisance of the issue last week, SHRC Acting Chairman's M.A. Sayeed had issued notice to the BMC and Mumbai Police, seeking their explanation by August 31. Pinakin Gujjar, the Dean of R.N. Cooper Hospital, along with a civic Law Officer, appeared before the SHRC and submitted a brief letter, stating that the BMC had not given any permission to the actress to enter the morgue.

Sushant Singh Rajput fans on Monday trended a new hashtag reiterating they would continue speaking on his behalf as his voice. The hashtag #IAmSushant reaffirms the fan contention that the late actor did not commit suicide but that he was murdered. A few fans asserted they would continue trolling the late actor's girlfriend Rhea, who has been charged with abetment to suicide, and demanded a Narco test on her. "Sushant is not with us to see. Very sad. In one interview he said that he does not have crazy fans. We failed to show our love when he was with us. #IAmSushant," tweeted a fan.

Sources have revealed that on June 8, when Rhea Chakraborty was present at Sushant Singh Rajput's Bandra residence, the actor was communicating with his sister Priyanka, reported India Today. Sushant was speaking to Priyanka at around 10 am, when she told him to have Librium capsules for a week and then start taking Nexito 10 mg once every day after breakfast. This communication happened on a messenger app. Priyanka also told the actor to keep Lonazep tablets for SOS situations so that he could use it in case of an anxiety attack.
Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh said that he received complaints about film-maker Sandeep Singh, who made a biopic on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, from a Congress delegation regarding drug connections and said that he would forward those complaints to the CBI, which is currently investigating the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.

A team of investigation agency CBI was seen arriving at late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's residence in Mumbai on Monday. Meanwhile, the Mumbai Police escorted Rhea Chakraborty and her brother to the DRDO guest house around 11 am, on the request of the CBI, which is probing the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput on June 14. Showik has been questioned by the agency every day since last Thursday.

A hashtag demanding a solution to the murder mystery of late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput and his former manager Disha Salian has been trending on Twitter since Monday morning, reports IANS. Many netizens are of the opinion that both Sushant and Disha were murdered and their cases are correlated. Hence they feel it is extremely necessary to probe Disha Salian's "murder" to get to Sushant's "killers".

The State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) sent a show-cause notice to the dean of Dr RN Cooper Municipal General Hospital and the Mumbai Police last Tuesday for allegedly allowing Rhea Chakraborty to enter the mortuary of the hospital when Sushant Singh Rajput’s postmortem was being conducted. SHRC chief MA Sayeed told Mumbai Mirror that he asked the legal wing to look into the matter after he saw alleged videos of Rhea visiting the mortuary. “We don’t know how and under what circumstances the permission to visit the mortuary was given. It should not have been so,” he said.
No permission was given to Rhea to visit the mortuary: Cooper Hospital Dean
Dr Pinakin Gujjar, the dean of Dr RN Cooper Municipal General Hospital, has denied that the permission was granted to Rhea Chakraborty to visit the mortuary. Gujjar was summoned by the State Human Rights commission (SHRC) office on Monday for questioning over the alleged mortuary access given to Rhea when Sushant Singh Rajput’s post-mortem was being conducted. Now, Gujjar has said that no such incident had taken place at the Cooper hospital.
Rhea Chakraborty recently dismissed allegations that she had cut Sushant Singh Rajput off from his family in December 2019 as “baseless”. Asked about hiring a new staff team for Rajput’s house, she told India Today, “His house manager was hired by his sister. I did not know any of the staff members who worked at his house — all of them were working for him since before I came into his life.”

Rhea Chakraborty, in a recent interview with India Today, opened up about her much-talked-about Europe trip with late Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput, who died on June 14 in Mumbai. The actor’s father Mr KK Singh filed a complaint against Rhea and her family members for abetment of suicide. Sushant Singh Rajput's sister Shweta Singh Kirti has shared an old video of the late actor distributing diaries to kids. A team of CBI officials has arrived at the Bandra residence of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. On August 22, the CBI team reconstructed the crime scene at Rajput's flat, where he was found dead on June 14. The central agency team, along with forensic experts, had gone to Rajput's residence in Mont Blanc Apartment. Rajput's cook Neeraj and his flatmate Siddharth Pithani had also accompanied the CBI team at the time.

Shweta Singh Kirti, sister of Sushant Singh Rajput, has reacted to a news piece where a hospital staff claims that doctors felt the actor was murdered.
Dr Pinakin Gujjar, the dean of Dr RN Cooper Municipal General Hospital, and Dr Rajesh Sukhdev, the HOD of the Forensic and Toxicology department, have reached the State Human Rights commission (SHRC) office. The two will be quizzed about how and why Rhea Chakrabarty was given access to the mortuary of the hospital when Sushant Singh Rajput’s post-mortem was being conducted, a source informed. The SHRC sent a show-cause notice to the dean of Dr RN Cooper Municipal General Hospital and the Mumbai Police on Tuesday for allowing Rhea to enter the mortuary.
In a veiled attack on the Shiv Sena-led Maharashtra government over actor Sushant Singh Rajput death case, Union minister Raosaheb Danve on Sunday said some people had opposed the CBI probe to protect "someone" and they are now trying to drag the BJP in the matter. Responding to a query on certain allegations levelled by state Congress general secretary Sachin Sawant, Danve said the BJP had no connection with the case.

The Congress Sunday questioned the "alacrity" exhibited by the Centre in ordering a CBI probe in the Sushant Singh Rajput case and sought investigation into alleged BJP links of Sandeep Ssingh, the producer of a biopic on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is under the scanner in a related drugs case. Congress spokesperson Abhishek Singhvi asked who in the BJP is trying to "save" Ssingh, who produced “PM Narendra Modi”, the posters of which were unveiled by the then Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis. Singhvi alleged the film producer who claimed to be Rajput's close friend made 53 calls to the Maharashtra BJP office in the last few months.

Goa-based hotelier Gaurav Arya - whose name figured in old WhatsApp chats of actress Rhea Chakraborty, arrived in Mumbai on Sunday to join the probe in the alleged drugs and money laundering angle in the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput case. Though he declined to speak with the media in Mumbai, at Panaji, he said that he had no connection with the case and was being framed. "I did not know Sushant personally, nor had ever met him. I had met her (Rhea) in 2017... I have no connection whatsoever in the Sushant case," he said. Arya is the owner of Hotel Tamarind and Cafe Cotinga in Goa. Arya was called for questioning in the Sushant Singh Rajput case after the ED came across some mobile phone messages reportedly sent by Rhea Chakraborty to him in 2017 and they purportedly indicate discussion of certain banned narcotics. Last week, after his name cropped in the messages, an ED team visited the Hotel Tamarind in Anjuna, North Goa, but the property was shut owing to the Covid pandemic restrictions. They pasted a notice on the hotel doors directing Arya to come and meet ED Assistant Director Rajiv Kumar on Monday (August 31) at 11 a.m., in connection with a case filed under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.

Sushant Singh Rajput's flatmate Siddharth Pithani has also reached the DRDO guest house for thr questioning by the CBI. Pithani, Sushant's cook Neeraj Singh and domestic help Deepesh Sawant were present in the late actor's house at Mont Blanc Apartments in suburban Bandra when the 34-year-old film star was found dead in his room on June 14.
