Unlock 4: No e-pass to travel inter-district; Maharashtra allow hotels to reopen

Declaring Unlock 4 guidelines, the Maharashtra state government has allowed hotels to restart, interdistrict transport, private and minibus and also offices with working staff of 30 per cent.

With some relaxations, the Uddhav Thackeray government has extended the lockdown till September 30. The Standing Operating Procedure (SOP) for the interdistrict travel will be declared by State Transport Commissioner. 

The guidelines stated that hotels in the state too will be allowed to operate with 100 per cent capacity but will have to strictly maintain all safety.

Also, government offices can deploy 100 per cent of their Group A and Group B workforce and 30 per cent of the rest in urban hotspots of the contagion including Mumbai and Pune. In the rest of the state, 50 per cent staff in government offices can join the office, guidelines further states.

Meanwhile, theatres and metro rail, will remain closed with schools and colleges will not be open either.
