As many as 5,956 more persons tested positive for coronavirus in Tamil Nadu over the past 24 hours, taking the state's total tally to 4,28,041, the Health Department said on Monday.

The total number of Covid-19 patients who succumbed over the past 24-hours was 91 taking the death toll of the State to 7,322.
On the positive side, 6,008 Covid-19 patients were cured and discharged from various hospitals in the state. The total number of cured persons goes up to 3,68,000.
State capital Chennai recorded 1,150 fresh corona cases over the past 24-hours, total tally exceeds 1,35,000.
