Tamil Nadu released the guidelines for Unlock 4.0 on Sunday, along with several relocations. Flight arrivals at Chennai airport have been increased from 25 to 50.
Under the guidelines, industries and government offices will be allowed to function with a 100 percent workforce. However, the IT sector has been encouraged to provide an option to work from home.
Also, shops can open until 8 pm and entertainment clubs will be allowed to open following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Parks and playgrounds are allowed under Unlock 4.0 but are not allowed for spectators.
Under the guidelines, shooting for cinema can be permitted with a maximum of 75 people at work.
The full lockdown on Sunday has been removed for September.
On Sunday, Tamil Nadu has seen 6,352 new coronovirus cases, and the total number in the state has risen to 4,15,590. There were also 87 new deaths, with a mortality rate of 7,137.
