NEW DELHI: BSE Consumer Durables index was trading on a negative note at 02:22PM (IST) on Monday.

<br> While Blue Star (down 5.86 per cent), <a target="_blank" href="/symphony-ltd/stocks/companyid-10473.cms">Symphony</a> (down 5.26 per cent), <a target="_blank" href="/vip-industries-ltd/stocks/companyid-12830.cms">VIP Industries</a> (down 5.1 per cent), Rajesh Exports (down 4.45 per cent) and Orient Electric (down 4.31 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

<br> The S&P BSE Consumer Durables index was trading 2.96 per cent down at 22787.33 around 02:22PM.

<br> Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 226.25 points at 11421.35, while the BSE Sensex was down 738.98 points at 38728.33.

<br> Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 6 were trading in the green, while 44 were in the red.

<br> Shares of Vodafone Idea, YES Bank, Future Retail Ltd., Alok Industries and BHEL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

<br> Shares of Adani Green Energy Ltd., Larsen & Toubro Infotech Ltd., MindTree, Timken India and SBI Cards hit their fresh 52 week high in today's trade, while Panth Infinity Ltd., Innovative Ideals and Services (India) Ltd., Unishire Urban Infra Ltd., Emmsons International Ltd., Anupam Finserv Ltd., STI India Ltd., Vas Infrastructure Ltd., Leading Leasing Finance and Investment Company Ltd., B P Capital Ltd. and Rainbow Denim Ltd. hit fresh 52 week low in trade.
