A young man has been charged over the sexual assault and robbery of a 14-year-old girl.
The teenager was walking through a park in Yagoona, in Sydney's south west, at about 5pm on Sunday when she was allegedly attacked.
Police allege the man stole her handbag and phone following the assault.

The teenage girl alerted a member of the public and police were called, prompting an investigation by Bankstown Police Area Command.
She was taken to Westmead Hospital for treatment.
Following inquiries, officers searched a home on Rookwood Road in Yagoona at 1.15pm on Monday.

'An 18-year-old man was arrested at the home and taken to Bankstown Police Station,' police said in a statement.
He was taken to Bankstown Police Station where he was charged with two counts of aggravated sexual assault and two counts of sexually touching a child under 16, aggravated robbery and goods in custody.
The man was refused bail to appear at Bankstown Local Court on Tuesday.
