Arsenal are reportedly aiming to bring in around £67m by selling both Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi.

The Times reports that Mikel Arteta is looking to trim down his squad imminently and midfield duo Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi will likely be two of those who are moved on.

The paper claims the Gunners have placed a value of £27m on the under-performing Torreira, while Guendouzi, who does not see eye to eye with Arteta, valued at £40m.

Torreira's future in north London has been in doubt for some time, however the 24-year-old remains under contract until 2023.

He has been linked with Fiorentina and earlier this month he did reveal to Sport 890 in Uruguay that he was considering his future.

"Obviously, if I were to leave, I would do it for the best possible destination. We have to be calm and wait," said the midfielder.

"Last season I played continuously, this one less so.

"This year has been more complicated: I have lost continuity and confidence. I do not like this.

Guendouzi meanwhile, is wanted by Valencia, claims The Times, although they are favouring a loan move.

Arteta and Guendouzi have a history of falling out in just the eight months since the former Man City assistant took over the reins.

The Spanish boss is believed to want the 21-year-old out and earlier this month the midfielder was believed to be one of the players reportedly placed on the transfer list.
