CHENNAI: The Chennai Photo Biennale (CPB) Foundation has decided to push the third edition of its Chennai Photo Biennale to December 2021, in the wake of Covid-19.
The two-month-long photography festival held in public spaces and galleries across the city was originally slated for December 9, 2020 - February 6, 2021.
The founding organisations - CPB Foundation and Goethe Institut Chennai - have been working along with the curatorial team to realign with this shift and continue to build the theme and plans for edition 3, irrespective of the postponement, said a statement from CPB Foundation.
The theme and the first list of artists for CPB3 will be announced on December 9, 2020, at a virtual event. All further details will be unveiled in due course.
