Genelia reveals she had tested positive for COVID-19

On Saturday, actress Genelia sent the internet buzzing after she revealed that she had tested positive for COVID-19. She shared the journey of dealing with isolation and loneliness and how she overcame the virus in an emotional post. The Santhosh Subramaniam actress had tested positive for the virus three weeks ago, and tested negative on Saturday. She was asymptomatic for 21 days. With God’s grace I tested COVID-19 negative today. As much as I count my blessings that my battle with this disease has been much easier but at the same time I must admit that these last 21 days in isolation have been the most challenging for me to deal with. Genelia added that no amount of facetime and digital immersion could kill the evil of loneliness and that she is finally happy to be back with her family and loved ones.
