Siolim Health Center has recorded an increase of 26 COVID-19 positive cases on Saturday. This included a family of 16 members from Canca. With this the total positive cases in Siolim stands at 72. Similarly Mapusa health centre recorded double digit figures of 20 new positive
cases.
According to health staff on Saturday, 26 new positive cases were reported wherein 16 members of a family who had come together for the Ganesh celebrations tested positive at Canca, eight cases each was reported at Siolim Marna and two isolated cases was reported.
Under Mapusa health center 20 new cases were reported wherein six cases were reported at Feira Alta, three cases each at Acoi and Peddem. Two cases each at Dangui colony and Ganeshpuri and one case each at Cunchelim, Dattawadi, Shetyewaddo and Khorlim.
Eight positive cases were reported under Colvale health centre wherein four cases were reported at Tivim, two each at Colvale and Revora. 99 active cases are under Colvale health centre.
