There have been no further deaths from coronavirus in Wales, according to the latest figures from Public Health Wales (PHW).

But there have been 56 new cases of the virus reported by PHW, meaning 17,973 people have now tested positive.

The cases are spread across Wales with only four council areas - Anglesey, Blaenau Gwent, Conwy and Merthyr Tydfil - not reporting any new cases.

The total number of people who have died with Covid-19 is 1,595.

The number of people who have been tested in Wales is 331,223, with 313,250 testing negative.

The PHW figures mostly involve hospital deaths and only include cases when the virus was confirmed in a laboratory test.

The figures do not include deaths of residents from Powys in hospitals in England, although these are included in Office for National Statistics data.
