Following the footsteps of Gujarat, Health Minister Vishwajit Rane on Friday announced that the Goa government will give special health incentives to family members of plasma donors.
“Taking inspiration from #Gujarat govt to encourage patients to donate plasma, health dept will be felicitating plasma donors with an appreciation certificate & ensuring special health incentives for family members (sic),” Rane posted on Twitter late Friday evening.
However, the government is yet to finalise the kind of incentives to be provided to family members of plasma donors.
According to a news report, the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation in Gujarat is offering free whole body check-ups to four family members of every plasma donor.
