Lucknow: 15-year-old girl raped, blackmailed in Itaunja

Lucknow: A 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a village youth in his 20s in Itaunja. The survivor’s brother has lodged a named FIR against two youths on the basis of which police have detained four youths .
The FIR states that one of the village youths asked his sister to meet another youth, threatening and blackmailing her that her photos would be made viral on social media if she did not.
“When she met the second youth on Friday noon, he not only raped her but also filmed her in the act,” the brother stated in his complaint to the police.
He said that on Friday evening the girl reached home and narrated her ordeal to the family members. The family then lodged a complaint at the police station on Saturday.
Station house officer (SHO), Itaunja, Avneesh Kumar said that the FIR was lodged under the charges of rape and protection of children from sexual offences Act. “Some youths have been detained and an interrogation is underway,” he said.
