Around 30 per cent of the coronavirus patients admitted to Delhi hospitals in August were from other states, according to government data. 1,170 new Covid-19 cases in Nashik, tally reaches 36,490
The count of Covid-19 cases in Nashik district of Maharashtra reached 36,490 on Sunday with a single-day addition of 1,170 such patients, health officials said.The virus claimed six more lives, which took the death toll in the district to 862, they said.

Multiplex Association, filmmakers request Centre to open cinema halls
Several Bollywood producers, actors along with the Multiplex Association of India (MAI) on Sunday urged the Centre to open the cinema halls, which have remained shut amid the coronavirus pandemic. The country went into lockdown from March 25 to contain the spread of coronavirus pandemic. The government started unlocking in phase-wise manner from June with opening up of domestic travel, offices, markets, shopping complexes, etc in non-containment zones.
