Covid-19: Two deaths, 57 new cases, 28 discharged in Kurukshetra

KURUKSHETRA: Kurukshetra recorded two deaths due to Covid-19, taking the death toll to 32 in district on Sunday, said civil surgeon Dr Sukhbir Singh.
“Two patients died of Covid-19 in Kurukshetra on Sunday including a 55-year-old woman of Nand Colony, Kurukshetra who died at Adesh Medical College and Hospital, Shahabad and second is a 50-year-old woman of Model Town, Pehowa who died at the LNJP civil hospital, Kurukshetra”, said Dr Singh.
Fifty-seven people tested positive for Covid-19 from different areas of Kurukshetra district on the day, increasing the case tally to 1,704, with 655 active cases, said Dr Singh.
As many as 28 patients were discharged on the day, taking the recovery count to 1,017 in Kurukshetra, he added.
