Two players are among 13 people involved in the delayed Indian Premier League to test positive for coronavirus in the United Arab Emirates.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) says 1,998 tests were carried out between 20-28 August and all those affected, as well as their close contacts, are asymptomatic.
According to ESPN, the two players - one an India international - are among 10 cases at Chennai Super Kings, with support staff, net bowlers and a team official's wife also testing positive.
Those to test positive are now being monitored at a different hotel and must spend at least two weeks in quarantine.
All 53 IPL games will be played in the UAE because of the global Covid-19 pandemic.
The Super Kings, who are three-time champions, arrived on 21 August and the team were scheduled to begin training in Dubai on Friday.
That session has been postponed to 1 September, with the IPL set to start on 19 September.
Meanwhile, Super Kings' all-rounder Suresh Raina, who is the competition's second highest run-scorer, has returned to India for personal reasons and will play no part in the tournament.
