NEW DELHI: A criminal gang led by a UP Police constable was busted after its members waylaid a businessman near Rohini and robbed him. They also fled with his car, which they were planning to use for a murder.
On August 18, the robbers targeted the businessman near Mukarba Chowk. He filed a complaint at the Samaipur Badli police station and told the cops that his car had a GPS tracking system. The location of the vehicle was tracked down to Ghaziabad.
"We found the involvement of a notorious criminal named Raghu Khosla and conducted a raid on Thursday," said DCP (outer, north) Gaurav Sharma.
Khosla was in touch with the constable, Shreekanth. When the police team reached Ghaziabad, Shreekanth tried to flee, but was caught. Khosla too was arrested later.
