The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned a Goa hotelier in a money laundering case involving the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Officials said on Friday, a businessman named Gaurav Arya has been asked to appear in the ED's Mumbai office on August 31. However, the notice has been pasted on Gaurav Arya's absence.

According to officials, messages were sent to Gaurav in 2017 from Sushant's girlfriend Riya Chakraborty's mobile phone and there was talk about banned drugs between the two. Along with this, the central agency is also preparing to send a summons to some more people. These people are suspected to be in touch with Riya on drugs. Actually, the ED is also investigating the money laundering angle in this case. Earlier, Sushant's talent manager Jaya Jaitley has also been questioned in the case.

Riya should be stopped from publicity in media

Sushant's family lawyer Vikas Singh has objected to the TV channel interviewing accused Riya Chakraborty. Vikas Singh said on Friday, the media publicity of those involved in the law case should be stopped. If they are innocent then it tarnishes their reputation and if they are guilty it gives them unfair visibility.
