The antibody can remain in a corona patient for only 50 days - research

The JJ Group of Hospitals has released research on Corona infected patients. Research believes that antibodies do not remain in a patient's body for more than 50 days. The lead author of the research, Dr. Nishant Kumar, says that we studied 801 health workers at JJ, GT, and St. George's Hospital, in which 28 people turned out to be Corona positive.

These 801 health workers were tested for corona with the help of RT-PCR, in which 28 people turned out to be corona positive. When these health workers were sero-surveyed in June, antibodies were not found in the bodies of these 28 patients. According to the pre-print of the research, this information will be published in the International Journal of Community Medicine and Public Health in September.

Apart from this, Dr. Kumar said that three weeks and five weeks ago, 34 more patients got infected with Kovid-19 in the JJ Hospital Sero survey. In the three-week group, 90 percent of the patients had antibodies and 38.5 percent of the patients in the five-week group had antibodies.

Discussion on antibodies is important because a patient does not get coronavirus again due to having antibodies in his body, but a person in Hong Kong has been stirred by health problems due to coronavirus again. Another analysis of the same research shows that the antibody soon dissolves.

Based on these analyzes, Dr. Kumar says vaccine strategies need to be reworked. The research team of this research says that corona-infected patients should be given more than one dose of vaccine. Epidemiologist Giridhar R. Babu of the Public Health Foundation of India says that 28 corona patients at JJ Hospital were asymptomatic or had corona symptoms.

Other research in the world suggests that corona patients who are asymptomatic have fewer antibodies than severe corona patients or asymptomatic patients. Antibodies remain in the body for three to four months for patients who have been a victim of Symptomatic Corona for a long time.

A senior doctor in Mumbai said that there is still a lot of research going on on the system of immunity for Kovid-19 infection. He said that there is strong evidence that it is not immunoglobin G. Immunoglobin G is the most commonly found antibody.

The doctor believes that these antibodies produced in the body are either T cells or neutralizing antibodies, which works in creating immunity against the corona. A BMC doctor says that the system of research on antibodies is not appropriate.

The doctor says that we need to do a serial serosurvey. The doctor said that the level of antibodies should be observed in the same patient for a period to find out during which time the antibodies are melting or decreasing.
