Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to resign amid health conditions

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will resign from his position, media reports stated on Friday. According to reports, the Prime Minister who is facing some health issues does not want to cause any problems. 

Speculation about his health and tenure had made rounds after he made two visits to a hospital recently. He has battled the chronic disease ulcerative colitis for years now. Abe aged 65, had been Prime Minister for nearly eight years. As per Guardian, Shinzo Abe’s deputy, the Finance Minister, Taro Aso, is expected take over as acting Prime Minister in the country.
