BJP government of UP is promoting casteism: MP Sanjay Singh

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh on Thursday accused the BJP government of Uttar Pradesh of promoting casteist politics here. He said that in the Yogi Adityanath government, respect for Thakurs and other castes is being insulted.

In a press conference held at Noida Media Club located in Sector-29, Singh said that the pain of BJP MLA from Gorakhpur, Dr. Radha Mohan Das Aggarwal, is in front of everyone. "One of the ruling MLAs is so helpless saying openly that Thakurs rule in Uttar Pradesh," he said.

He alleged that criminals are being released after seeing caste in the state. He said that criminals do not have any caste.

In response to another question, MP Sanjay Singh said that the Aam Aadmi Party had called the STF Special Thakur Force on which the Chief Minister was angry, but now MLA Radha Mohan Das Aggarwal from his area is himself questioning the state police. Is that she does not take action against Thakurs.
