Ahmedabad-based management trainer bags special award by US learning organization

RAJKOT: Ahmedabad-based management thinker and trainer, Dr Shailesh Thaker, has been selected by the US-based International Federation For Learning Development (ILFD), a non-profit organization, as one among of the world's top 20 top trainers.
Dr Thaker is the only one from India to have figured in this list published by the New Jersy based organization. He is also the first Gujarati to be selected for this program in which the organization processed more than 5,000 applications from world over.
The award will be presented on December 19 in Chicago.
"Dr Thaker is a combination of wisdom and skill. He believes in the applicable learning policy. The satisfaction ratio of clients is very high and ideas generated by him are found applicable. At this point, ILFD is looking forward to a trainer of long-lasting impressions and contributing in favour of humanity. IFLD believe that spiritual guru on his way," said Sananpim Klayjindawarit, head, global council, IFLD in an e-mailed response.
Last year too, Dr. Thaker was awarded the 'outstanding personality of the training and development of the world' award at Toronto by UK-based Global Gurus Inc.
Dr Thaker has spent 29 years in the learning and development and trained people across various spectrums in 64 countries.
"I am extremely honoured to have been selected for this award. This will only boost my untiring endeavour of knowledge sharing and make the world a better place,” Dr Thaker told TOI.
