HYDERABAD: Telangana on Friday reported 2,932 new Covid-19 cases, pushing the state’s tally to 1,17,415. The state also witnessed 11 Covid-related deaths, taking the toll to 799.
The Covid fatality rate in the stood at 0.68%, lower than the national average of 1.83%. The government also tested a high of 61, 863 samples and a total of 12,04, 343. The samples tested per million is 32, 439. Currently, there are 28, 941 active cases and 22, 097 cases under home isolation.
While Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) saw 520 new cases, nine other districts reported 100 or above new patients. Ranga Reddy and Medchal Malkajgirir had 218 cases each fallowed by Karim Nagar ( 168), Nalgonda ( 159), Khammam ( 141), Mancheryal ( 110), Suryapet ( 102), Siddeipet ( 100)
