Two crashes have sparked major delays for motorists.
The westbound carriageway of the A494 was partially blocked near Queensferry following a collision just before midday.
Traffic Wales said: "Heavy congestion travelling on the A494 Queensferry westbound due to a collision.
"Emergency services are on scene.
"Take care if you're travelling in the area and leave plenty of time for your journey."
The crash was cleared at around 1pm, but delays remain.
A second crash has taken place on the westbound carriageway of the A55 near Northop.
One lane is closed and long delays are building.
