Karen Gallman is all set to embrace motherhood

Karen Gallman, the first Filipina to win the prestigious Miss Intercontinental recently announced the news of her pregnancy through a post on her official Instagram account. (insert link to Instagram account here)

The beauty queen flaunted her growing baby bump with a beautiful video clip captioned "We are SO excited to be welcoming our little one into the world!"

Karen, who was crowned Miss Intercontinental 2018, married her long term boyfriend Ian Garton, at a sunny garden wedding in the winery Stoneridge Estate on the 3rd of March, 2020. The couple had delayed their wedding as they wanted Karen to fulfill all her crown duties before moving on to a bigger commitment of marriage.

The diva, who is now preparing for the next phase of her life had a fairytale wedding, with the majestic scenery of New Zealand, surrounded by loved ones. She looked no less than a princess bride in her white Rosa Clara bridal gown.

Karen is the one and only winner from the Philippines to be crowned Miss Intercontinental in the pageant’s 47 year history. Her outstanding answer to the finale question is the one that impressed the judges as well as the audience. On being asked, "How do you define success?" she replied, “For me, success is not just about winning in life but setting goals, smaller goals, and achieving your dreams and working hard for everything you want, and always looking up to God and being thankful for everything. For me, that is a success.” Her answer did not just help her win the crown but also helped create history for her country.

Karen and her husband, Ian are overjoyed to welcome their first baby who is due to be born in January 2021. She expressed their gratitude for all the wishes they received from family, her sister queens, and fans with a post captioned, “Thank you all for your beautiful messages and well wishes! Ian and I are over the moon with happiness 🥰”
