Mahesh Manjrekar receives ransom text allegedly from Abu Salem's gang, files a complaint

National Award winning filmmaker, Mahesh Manjrekar recently filed a complaint at the Dadar police station, after he received messages demanding a huge ransome. The filmmaker alleged that the person claimed to be a member of the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts' case convict Abu Salem, who demanded Rs 35 crores in his text message. As per the reports, Mumbai Police has registered the complaint and transferred the case to Anti-Extortion Cell due to the involvement of extortion.
