Toyota Urban Cruiser’s interiors revealed

NEW DELHI: Toyota Kirloskar Motor on Thursday revealed the interior looks of the upcoming compact SUV, Urban Cruiser.
The Toyota Urban Cruiser is the rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and recently was the talk of the town as its images got leaked way ahead of the launch.

The Urban Cruiser boasts a plush dual-tone dark brown interior quite ergonomically designed. The compact SUV’s interiors offer a decent combination of space and utility making it utmost convenient for everyday usability.

The Toyota Urban Cruiser also flaunts some in-car features like the standard engine start/stop button, automatic air conditioning, and electrochromic rearview mirror for the convenience of the driver and the passengers. The SUV also boasts a Smart Playcast touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility.

Under the hood, the Toyota Cruiser borrows the same K-Series 1.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine from Brezza. The SUV also borrows the mild-hybrid tech from its rival. Toyota Urban Cruiser and Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza will become the only MHEV cars in their segment.

On the outside, Toyota Urban Cruiser’s design and structure draws heavily on the iconic SUV, Fortuner. Apart from a little change, Toyota Urban Cruiser doesn’t differ much from Brezza.

The all-new Urban Cruiser is aimed a younger audience who want an affordable SUV pretty early. The compact SUV is expected to arrive in the upcoming festive season.
