126 new Covid cases in city, no fatalities in a week

Gurgaon: The city on Wednesday reported 126 new Covid-19 cases, taking the tally to 11,288. The health department said 94 people recovered on Wednesday and the total number of recoveries in the city stands at 10,267. It’s been seven days that the city has seen no Covid deaths, officials said.
Till date, 131 people have died of Covid-19 in the city, of whom 92 had comorbidities.
According to official data, 10 people were put under government quarantine on Wednesday.
The city has a total of 890 active cases, of which 795 are in home isolation. The health authorities were able to collect 2,508 samples in the past 24 hours for antigen and RT-PCR tests.
So far,1,62,256 people have been put under surveillance in the district. The health department has sent 1,56,422 samples for testing, of which 1,42,626 turned out to be negative, while the results of 1,017 are still awaited.
