Others have said the product trips fuses in their homes or the grill plates have melted.
'I returned mine to Aldi. It did amazing waffles the first day, then the second day I did doughnuts and the clips melted,' one user said.
'I thought I could still use it like it was but the third day it kept tripping the fuses.'
Another said: 'Tried making doughnuts just now and the plastic for the bottom tray melted so it doesn't clip at all anymore.'
A third social media user said: 'Bought the snack maker today, got home ready to make some doughnuts...blew a fuse, twice. Anyone else have trouble?'
However others reported no issues with the product after creating snacks such as waffles and doughnuts repeatedly.
