Notice sent to hosp over mortuary access to Rhea

The CBI team investigating Sushant Singh Rajput death probe, on Tuesday questioned his chartered accountant Sandeep Sridhar along with his flatmate Siddharth Pithani and cook Neeraj Singh. The investigation team visited Sushant's home in Bandra with a flatmate and personal staffs and recreated the crime scene, over the weekend.

According to the Mumbai Mirror report, the State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) issued a notice to the management of Cooper Hospital and the Mumbai police. This is over Rhea Chakraborty getting access to the hospital's mortuary.


Rhea visited the at Cooper Hospital. In one of the video footage, Rhea was seen coming out from the Cooper Hospital’s mortuary after spending around 45 minutes there. She was clicked leaving along with three other persons.


The Mirror report further stated that sources in the police and the SHRC said only immediate family members of the deceased are allowed inside the mortuary.

Sushant's father Mr KK Singh filed FIR at Patna's Rajiv Nagar police station on July 25. A case was filed against Rhea and others. The Enforcement Directorate is also probing the money laundering angle in the matter. They recorded statements of Rhea, her brother Showik Chakraborty, Meetu Singh, Shruti Modi, Pithani among others.
